The last coat of Polyurethane has been done. The doors are out of my room and the wing's bottom has been taped up. Tomorrow I will start the finish work one last time. The lay-up for the canopy frames has been removed. They need to be trimmed and cleaned up and painted.

Another productive day, along with the last post I have also installed the cabinet hardware, they are done. The trim work on the canopy frames has yet to happen, had to soak them for several hours to remove the tape. They will be attended to tomorrow as well, if not tonight. In short, all is going well and this time will be the last of the wing.

Here are the canopy frames trimmed close, they will get finished after mounting the canopy to the windscreen and adding the side rails. Those are the points of securement and will hold it firm to finalize the trimming of the glass and separation of front and rear.

The first coat of polybrush is on, two more to go. The fan and filter is working great, hardly no smell at all much less a lingering fog. I'll take a pic after the last coat.

I think not having the canopy was the downer.
One side canopy rail mount has been made. It needs a little trimming (down to the blue line) but I need a finer tooth bandsaw blade for that.

Time wise maybe two weeks of actual work, calendar wise probably a month. The Bulldog is up to squirrely, if it's not here I will probably do a Spacewalker next.

Looking Good!!!
I started stripping my Cub today, I was really surprised how easily the Solartex tore and also comes off the wood very easy. The stuff adds no strength to a structure for sure.
Thinking about trying Stits with this covering job. Just not sure what all I need and how much?
Later!!
