KMP Cirrus SR22 Repair/Repaint
Starting this thread to capture some of the steps I took to rebuild/repair the fiberglass and wing on my Cirrus SR-22 after a snap roll and impact with a hard surface. Here's the photo of my airplane before the miss-managed flight..... Notice I don't call it a crash.

I'm not that familiar with all of these automotive paints, so I used good ole Krylon Plastic with metallic. It has seemed to hold up well to fuel residue and cleaning with simple, green, windex or 409, soap water and some alcohol

My masking tape (I knew before I did it) was not the optimal tape to use, proved exactly that. Should have used blue but I was running out and trying to get
my lines thin so there was some bleeding... I'll get that corrected when it gets warmer and after a few flights. Got just a little repair to the wing to do in the next
week or two then I'm done. Since I say so many comments about the H9 Gear being cheap, I'm going to modify it like another RCU post suggested. I traded out
the KMP gear for the H9 because I wanted it to be scale. However if it's not built more robust, then i'll just end up removing or repairing it. So I'll improve it before the
first flight from our grass field. The KMP plane flies heavy and when it has a dead stick you must nose down to maintain speed because it sinks quickly. as seen in video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxrLWt7xCVo
