Typically the results are posted in the daily Nats News but not this year.
They should be posted here sometime in the future. http://www.modelaircraft.org/events/...s.aspx?yr=2014

Thanks for the info VG. I read an interview in one of the mags where he had stated he was done with RC scale and had gone back to FF but I had no idea he was a control line flyer as well.

I think he is getting to the point he cant handle the over the top high end model he can build. He has customers willing to pay pretty good for his planes so why crunch them at a contest. He probably does not like the idea of team scale for himself too.

Actually I believe Platt's objections were centered around the notion that too many competitors were buying their models rather than building them. Either competing with highly prefabricated models or with models they had custom built. At least that is what I took away from the interview that I read.

I honestly cannot comment on His views, I just saw in an article that he did not like the direction the hobby has gone. I have my own observations myself. It had stated he flew mostly FF and CL. I was very glad to have met him a couple weeks back, but I did not ask him about that. We talked about building on glass, and the types of glues we use. His model looked very nice.
