Hey Greg! Do you remember this?
Billy, do you remember when we tried to steal a flight when Dale was sleeping? But couldn't get the engine started?
Lee, was this a great flight or what?!
An early version of the "Review of the Threes".......now they are mostly all threes!
Sir Percy, I presume this year's event will be as casual of some of the past Hoosier Dawn Patrol's.

Steve,
I had a wonderful time.
The pilots that come to your event can FLY! From the massive gaggles in the morning and evenings to adrenaline pumping combat mission flying. (special kudos to Art for being my wingman against Jim and Doug)
I want to thank Bob Cole one last time for building one of the best fighters I had in my fleet in a long time!
Cant wait to do it all over again next year!

Here is the result of a successful test flight and many following flights of Jim Suchy's 1/3 scale, original, Spad XIII. See earlier posts for some building pictures.

Thanks guys, and thanks Percy for another great event. I'm really happy that the SPAD flies as well as it does. Once I got it trimmed out and the engine/prop issues worked out it was a lot of fun to fly. I put a total of 8 flights on it over the weekend.
It was great to have the other 1/4 scale fighters flying along with the Gotha. I was busy concentrating on driving that truck around but it must have looked pretty cool seeing the whole group flying around. BTW, there probably will be be another Gotha at the same scale flying around with them next year!
The 1/3 scale Fokker/Albatross gaggles were impressive and a joy to watch.

So, DP Fans, I'd like to know how you prefer viewing photos here.
In thumbnail style (like above and below)? This is using RCU's uploader.
Or big?
Generally, I'll upload all of my photos to Photobucket and add them as larger images. I'ts not any easier either way, I just prefer them bigger. And when you click on the image, it'll take you to the Photobucket album.
Give me your feedback please (not saying I'll change). Thanks

I prefer the photobucket method myself, but I also know that some slower computers struggle loading the images.
+1 on what you've posted so far - can't wait to see the rest!!!
And was I really that close to the Gotha with my Pup??!?!?? (I did get some GoPro images where the Gotha shows up pretty big!!)
Best regards,
Lee McD

I wasn't able to take many pictures this year. And my camera was acting up, so what I did take are not very good. Here's what I have. I left some that should have been removed.
