Classic Scale Videos - 1974 British Nationals & 1974 World Championships
I stumbled across these videos on You Tube last night. One is from the 1974 Scale Model British National Championships. Not the best flying in the world, funny watching people scatter during landings. In my opinion, the best flying plane there.............a P-47.

And the 1974 World Championships in New Jersey. I was 11 when my Dad and I made the trek from central Illinois to experience the best scale modeling the world had to offer in 1974. Made me want to rush home and get some more flights on my Jensen Ugly Stik and Kaos and work on my original Top Flite P-47 with Goldberg retracts. Had to get ready for '75.
