Good day, all
Got a GoPro camera last year for Christmas, and have been working with it at the last couple of fly-ins. It's mounted in the cockpit of my 1/4 Sopwith Pup. The video isn't quite up to snuff yet - gotta get the camera more isolated from vibration - but I've managed to get some screengrabs of it in action. It's turning into a pretty cool camera platform already:
With the VERY target-rich environment ODP provides, I'm hoping to really get some nice pictures (and who know, maybe even some usable video!!).
Helen and I will be driving down on Thursday, the 16th - looking forward to seeing everyone there!!

Very good looking pics Lee.
We are now finished putting the "scale" bomb craters all around air field from one hell of a 4th of July party!.......LOL!
I am trying very hard to work out the "bugs" on my D7 and 1/2 scale 6 to get them ready for the party! Time is just flying!
I can't wait to see everyone again
! Art and Rhonda came down to the 4th and believe it or not Art got his Nieuport back together and flew the crap out of it over the week end!

The rain in Cincy has been scattered....sometimes we get a spritz....sometimes we get a 5 min down pour.
We have been getting only enough rain to have our grass GROW like crazy! We are mowing 2-3 times a week!

RTF (less receiver) BUSA Fokker Triplane with streaked finish and full body pilot will be available for Best Offer. Don't want to bring it home. It will be with the BUSA boys when they arrive f you want to see it early. Make me an offer!!! It's been around and many of you have seen or flown it. It was displayed at the BUSA booth at Toledo a couple of times. It has a proper bungee LG in the subwing.

That plane is gorgeous! I seen the one "Euro Trash"...LOL... was flying down in Virginia last year.
Hope you have a safe trip and we do our best to make your long haul "worth while" once you get here....

I'll be going through St Louis and pick up my pit crewman, Joe. We are also planning on going to MAD again.
To be honest, even a rain-out with Dawn Patrol crew is a great time.
