A few more for your perusal.
Jim Suchy's 1/3 Spad. Love the colors.
Greg Hahn's 1/3 DVII
Very photogenic.
Gene Gavin's 1/3 Pfalz looked great.
Paul's radial powered Pup. Awesome sound and completely realistic performance,
Another shot of Steven Hill-Harirs' cool Tabloid.

To the hosts of the ODP - Thank You! Paul Michelle Jeff Greg Karen Gary Barry and all the other contributors to a great party!
It is nearly 5 o'clock on Monday afternoon.........we got home yesterday about 3:00 pm and I have been sleeping most of that time.
This old man had a great time! Maybe I can find enough energy in the morning to crawl out of bed and go to work.

This year's event was a blast! I must have burned two gallons of fuel, getting in several flights each day because the weather was so great. Paul, thanks to you and the entire ODP team for hosting this event and providing such generous hospitality.

ODP gang, You guys hold an outstanding event! To those who missed the Saturday night bonfire, I think it was the biggest one yet! Paul lit a Chinese lantern and thought you were supposed to throw it in the fire. Then he set off the military parachute flare and lit up the whole field. That was way cool!

Thank you sooo much for donating the use of your tent for the shower....it was a big hit for a lot of people, esp. me!
Rhonda,
Thank you sooo much for getting that ole fart friend of ours... packed, delivered, and flying all 10 years of ODP!
Art,
10 years! You have been there from the beginning.....Thank you... Your colorful flying, your poor eye sight , witty humor (which plane is mine?) It would not be the same without you! Finish up you D7 and I will see you soon!
Luv, HPA

I'm glad you had a good time! Thanks for bringing your beautiful planes. The bon fire was the biggest because we are now in a "biggest bon fire" contest with our IMAC event in our club in 30 days from now, there is no way they will even be able come close to beating us! ODP RULES!
I really miss Jeff but your wife was a good sub....as her and Helen were a little sauced around the Saturday camp fire...before I fully explained the big military flair and how dangerous.....they both chimed in and said..."DO IT...do it...DO IT....do it....DO IT...." LOL!

DOC...DOC..
I really glad you came to ODP became a pilot instead of sitting on the side lines. Pretty awesome Dawn Patrol gaggles with fog and the Island boys from the East! Hope to see you back next year.

Mike Bealmear,
Thank you for the pictures. It is great to show other people around the country/world what you and the other 40 pilots got to see and enjoyed for 5 (long ...lol) days at the ODP party. While short lived, it was good to see your plane the air! I went home in a very similar state of affairs.

There is also a 10 year veteran and that is our ODP CD Lee McDuffy (Winterhawk)
WoW what can I say about this gentleman? ..He is our most mature adult in the group! LOL!
He is THE squirrel whisper....he has saved countless lives putting the "squirrel" back in flying formation.....
He is the most hard core WWI man I have ever met....With Doug Cox at his side.... They are invincible!
We are lucky to have both of you as our friends......Thank you sooo much for your support for ODP and NOT trying to change me or my party.
Respectfully,
HPA
Every word was the truth...but I still almost threw up !

I used to Print T's for a living.. there was one manufacturer that sold a 20 X, and a 40 X shirt !
I think they were promotional things , for using them as a sign in the business window.. Still pretty huge !
the largest I ever saw in person was like a 10x .....
I will never forget the time we printed a teams sports shirts the night before a game.. this one shirt was a Youth Large, but it had Adult Large long sleeves sewn on it,,, we packed it up and sent it out as we had no substitute. But unless that kid was built like an Orangutan, it had to have fit funny ! hahahahahah We always joked that when the Mom called into complain we will tell her..
"There isn't anything wrong with that shirt, your kid is a mutant !"
memories.......

Hi Paul,
i want to thank you and all the folks that made ODP a very memorable event for me even though I did not have a plane to fly, that will be remedied next year. Thanks again for the hospitality.
please put me down for both shirts, size large.
regards,
Richard Martel

A week later, most of the rest of my pics are edited and suitable for sharing for your viewing pleasure.
John Mueller's GTM 1/3 Albi's engine looks great.
Wing warping stands out in the pic of Gary Denzler's Demoiselle.
Greg Hahn's 1/3 BUSA DVII looking tough,
Greg and Art - Formation landing.
Cropped view of same.
