I don't know about pretty funky. I like the plane and the pictures do not do it justice. Plus for any propeller driven aircraft to have the flight envelope that this one has, it is quite amazing. What is pretty funky is the sound in flight with that five-blade carbon fiber prop.

I'm pretty certain people wants to see the photo of the RC model that werhop was trying to post.
Pilatus PC21 seems to be modified improved version of Pilatus PC9 aka Texan II.

Modified in several ways. The wing is not the same poly-hedral wing that is on the PC7-PC9 models, I is just straight dihedral. The wingspan is smaller. The wing is swept back about 12° and ever-so-slightly the trailing edge is swept forward. The wing tips are swept up. The fuse is quite similar, and the canopy is the same. The biggest difference is the 1600 HP PT6 turbine and five bladed prop. This thing really moves out. From what I have been told, this plane flies more like a jet than a prop. With the smaller wings, and higher wing loading, the pitch performance was compared to an F-18.
If there was a smaller version available, I would probably get one; I don't want to get that big of a plane. I will probably build me one from scratch someday.

This is a much larger airframe than the PC-9. Its only 30 or 32 inches wide in the cockpit... 700k/ph dive speeds....
