Default HE 112 - KIT/SCALE?

Does anyone know of a Heinkel 112 kit or where I can get the plans to scratch build it (40 to 60 size)? I have developed lately a special affinity to this model but I was unable to find a manuf. that produces a kit. Please help, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You might want to do a dogpile or google search. You may not find any kits in that size, but you may find some interesting drawings are rubber power models you could scale up.
www.dogpile.com has a bit of stuff. Just type in Heinkel 112 and a bunch of stuff will be found. Good luck and have fun.

I also considered this as a project but have not really tracked down enough info to get started. You may find some help if you read through this thread: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ighlight=He112

You will have to go a couple of pages deep before you will find anything on the 112.

I didn't find much doing a search on Google (or AskJeeves, Dogpile . . .) other than I'm learning more about the history of this plane. No drawings though . . . I'll keep looking, thanks for help,

I don't know if you are helped by this, but the french company Heller made a 1:72 plastic model of the He 112 some twenty years ago. Give e-bay a try.

I don't know if you are in a big hurry, but I am drawing a scale HE 112 v6. I desighn & draw the "Home Aviator" series of drawings. I was planning on 1/5 or 1/6 scale. I have a sport scale P-26 & a Yak 18T that I am trying to finnish up. Then I'll probably start on the HE 112. I should have it out in six months or so. PM me if you are interested.

Messerschmitt, with a name like that you're drawing a HE? I definetly like to stay in touch as I would like to swap some info with you, now I'm thinking(re: gathering info) of two other scratch-built that I would like to put together. Send me an e-mail to the one I have registered here and we'll talk(if you prefer that way).
Thanks for the reply,

Ok, sounds great. Actually, I design & draw all types of aircraft. I do prefer warbirds, especially german.

Hi,

I know where you can find a rubber kit. it's, I think, around 30 inch wingspan, but you may need to check back in a little while because it's been a couple of weeks since I looked but it may be out of stock (probably not anymore)

Hope this helps you out.

Wow - four years later & I'm just getting back to this design! LOL! Well, I do like this plane and I've been researching it a lot lately. I started on the design yesterday. I think I'm going with 1/5 scale, still not sure.

I decided to spend at least 1 hour a day on this drawing. Hopefully I will have a one flying by September (thats are clubs scale meet). So you guys can keep me motivated

Here is what I have so far, I decided to go with the version 6.

Ok - I'm doing good so far, I just finished my hour of drafting on the HE 112. I've got most of the formers roughed out. This plane has a few curves!

Hi Messerschmitt

I have a question for you if your still out there, did you manage to finish the He 112 project, or perhaps draw up the plans to 1/5 scale? It's been a while since the last update and I thought I'd check on any progress as I am also keen to build one of these beasts in 1/5.

Cheers Bruce A
