Default Sterling Corsiar Kit FS-36

I need the plans and instructions for the 36" Sterling Corsair.
Would almost pay a Kings ransom. Any help out there?

You might try Estes. They supplied me with a few of the Chris Craft plans that they had in stock.

Did you just buy the kit on EBay that was for sale last week that had no instructions or plans? I was thinking about going for that...

Its the one from ebay that said no instructions. Guess he also ment no plans.
looks real nice, will be converted to electric/brushless. If I could just figure
out the rotating retracts. got some ideas but need the plans to see it clearer
in my mind.

I have the plans and they are in good shape. the plans do not show any rib or fuselage former shapes however. I believe most of the instructions are on the plan

There were no separate instructions, just the plans. BTW, here is a picture of my FS-36 Corsair built about 1980.

WOW, a great looking corsair. I just found out today that my corsair that I had hanging in my sons room is a sterling 36 in wingspan Corsair. I am almost done converting it to electric. I have a Astro Cobalt 05 brushed motor, gearbox and a thunderpower 4200 lipo battery in it. It weighs approximatly 2.5 lbs, I came up with a wing loading of 22 oz per sq ft. i didnt have to add any weight to balance it, the battery is just above the wing, towards the front. This is my first glow to electric conversion, I hope to get to try to fly it within 2 weeks. Anyone else converted one of these to electric?
