Barry, you're obviousy a man of taste! Great Clipwing Monocoupe!
How does it fly? what is it powered with? Does it have typical Monocoupe poor manners on the ground? My 1/4 scale Monosport keeps me on my toes if it's moving and there isn't any air under the wheels!

Nigel:

The Monocoupe was originally equipped with an O.S. 120FS. It flew ok, but underpowered. I replaced it with a Super Tigre 2000, made a great flyer out of it. Not bad ground handling considering I used a tail skid just like original, but it was bad to weather vane into the wind on take off.......if it started going into the wind, the better part of valor was to chop the throttle and start over. I still have the model, but it has been stored for about 4 years now.

Sorry about the low quality of the piccie, my scanner is not too good. This is Piper Tomahawk from the Airsail kit, flaps down on approach.

Default You're Right Monocoupe

Monocoupe,

You are absolutely right on about what I meant. It's a scale antenna.

To all,
Thanks for all the compliments on the Cessna. She has about 35 flights on her, and has pretty much been relinquished to the hangar, of which she is of course, the Queen.
Dean, nice twin Commanchie, and nice photo, perfect time o' day & locale.
Lot of good looking planes here guys!
Civilian Scale Rules!
Be sure and keep tabs on the 1/6 Beechcraft (Raytheon) KingAir B200 that Mike James and I are collaborating on at www.nextcraft.com under the projects section.
Thanks again for the kudos,
Paul Reese

Default Waco

John,

This is my Waco built from a Pica kit. Span is 66"

Powered by the older OS 90 4S with a Perry pump and Hary's aluminum prop nut.

Electrics are JR.

Full interior and panel available as an extra from Pica. Leather seat plus belts.

Brass flying wires with soldered links.

Covered in Ultracote and finished with graphics from CFC Graphics.

Painted areas are cowling, struts and wheel hubs. All paint is Epoxy.

The wing reads "Charlie's Flying Circus" upper and lower bottom. The sides read "Go for it" but are upside down.

I started building this over 25 years ago and only finished it about 7 years ago. I bounce around but do get around to finishing things.

My interest is scale but mostly aircraft of the 30's.

I hope you like my model!

Charles
