Default Large Mosquito Kit

Looking for either plans or preferably a full build kit of a British Mosquito. Found a great Hornet kit but really want the Mosquito. Must weigh 30 lbs or less. That should dictate a wingspan of 75" to 100". Please let me know if you know of a plans source or kit manufacturer that falls within the specs. Thanking all in advance for your help.

Hi EKS,

Try Richard Rawle on the following link. This should satisfy your large scale mosquito desires!

www.rawleaviation.demon.co.uk and if you need an aircrew, try out my site, www.scaleaircrewsupplies.co.uk

Cheers

Thanks AF,

Glad you enjoyed them ...we try to please .

The servos weigh 4.4 grams and there are 3 in the squadron scramble pilot, and 1 in the one of the few pilot. The latter's body is completely floppy, so his limbs are being moved by the controls which he is hanging onto. The controls are being moved by the flight servos running back into the cockpit, so with the use of 'Y' leads from the aileron channel to the head, it is all phased perfectly.

We do over 22 pilots now and convert them to order, and we also now make up specials from clients pictures.

cheers

Mark

EKS....

You can go over to the forums at RCSCALEBUILDER and this has been a good topic there for quite some time. You may not like what you read though, for they want a scale sized, accurate and good looking bird, not one which approximates a Mosquito in name only.

EKS,

Don Smith offers plans and accessories for a 1/6th scale, 109" span Mossie. You can see his offerings at www.donsmithplans.com/. I'm sure you could get a kit cut for you from Precision Cut Kits or All American Kit Cutters to name but two.

Good Luck!

Al
