SR Batteries Eindecker Questions...

RE: SR Batteries Eindecker Questions...
Don,
Thanks for the heads-up re staining. Can't say I've ever tried it, so will certainly experiment first. Given it's a laser-cut kit, alot of the open structures are "burnt wood" colour [8D] anyway, but of course the sanded areas are then lighter so the effect is inconsistent. Staining will give a more even effect (I HOPED!).
That said, I'll certainly experiment. Chalk weathering will definitely be done either way - pastels under the clearcoat. I LOVE weathering
Cheers,
Cam

I am ready to maiden my E-1 but am concerned about the c.g. It is shown at a little over 31% of chord. Should it be moved forward abit?
Thanks, Big Pilot

I'd say DEFINITELY YES. And ABSOLUTELY YES if you have a full-flying elevator, which tends to make elevator control a bit more sensitive anyway. So a full-flying elevator + tail-heavy would be a formula for disaster.
