You must be mistaken. I complimented Elliot on his Huey(many others at that).
If you read the thread you would have found that this thread is about SCALE SHOTS of those amazing models. I may be particular... that's because there are dozens of threads with hundreds of shots of beautiful aircraft. I started this thread because I wanted to see shots of those aircraft that made them look real.
If I don't pull on the reigns every now and then, this thread would detieriorate to that of what the others are(not to knock them).

Yeah, This is one thing that some kits have over ARF.S
Oh well though, To be able to say that you made some of these airplanes
must be unlike any other bragging rights out there.

A well done arf can be scale too. It's all in how you take the shot.

Ya know......something about the ten second rule..........well......that Lancier is sooooooooooooooooooo good and a great shot that I really......I mean really though that it was a real plane. Well, I have to say that, if this were not a model forum for scale planes, I really would have though that these magnificent planes were real. I mean, look at the craftsman ship on the P-51 Mustang that this one guy has a picture of on. I don't know which post that it was, but with the dummy one the ground in the chair, it really looked real. If I would just take a glace at that Mustang, then I would thing it was the real thing. Well, have fun, I know that I have with looking at the real thing. I am hoping to just build great planes like that. and hope that they turn out s good as these planes are. Sorry, Mustang51 for talkin to ya like that. I know that some of these pictures are good but not just the type for this kind of forum. I know how you feel when you make a forum like this one and people don't follow the rules. I hope that you see this post. SORRY. Even though they aren't scale pictures, the planes are great. I think that I have said that enough and I will stop now. Had fun spending almost 30 min. goin through this forum and looking at the great planes. I thing that the Cessna 182 that Paul Reese took was the best. Just, and only my opinon, and that other one that most people vote for right after the person posted it. But, keep posting the great pictures.

I'm goin to PM Mustang51 and see if he wants to do it...............but how would be format it. Would we post all of the actual "scale pictures of scale planes" and post all of them on posts, and just keep doin that, and just name the pictures...........How would we work on doing that and formating it so that it would be easy.......Well, I might be up to the job if someone would tell me how to do it. I might be able to do it like.........um this Fri. or Sat. I go to my mom's house and I'm on the computer like all of the time and I think that I might be able to make time to do that. I think that is a great idea. I would have to vote for Paul Reese's (SDCrashMaster's) Cessna 182. That's just my $0.02. Well, If anyone has the time to get the pictures together and post them............just try it and get goin!!!!! If you are the one to do it........HAVE FUN...........And don't pick just all of the pictures......not the ones where Mustang51 had to come back and post his criteria after they were posted. Don't pick those. Just the ones that are truley a scale picture of the scale plane. Again, HHHAAVVVEEE FFFUUUNNNN.............

as it's 51's thread i think he knows what makes the grade and what doesn't, the entries are already here. for the crash comp some of the mods picked their top ten and then RCU members voted for the winner..
to post the top entries all you'd need to do is open each of the best entries up, copy the picture properties and post that in the replay with the "image" brackets around it, that would show the image full size all in one post.. please dont do that and kill my dial up commection lol

it's just a susgestion. it could be as little as the ones of us here just imformally vote on a best so far, i think the orginial post can be editted with a poll, which could list the pic, page and member. we go look and decide..

just an idea...

Hi guys,

First things first... I don't want you to think that I have "RULES". I mearly set up guide lines, that's all. I know I have come down on some folks, but that was to maintain the integrety of the thread and keep it true to "best SCALE photo". Thanks for understanding.

IFLYNETHING is willing to take this to the next level..."Competition"... YEAH!!!!
Maybe the easiest thing to do is that because I started the thread, I should go back through the thread and personally choose, in my oppinion, the "BEST SCALE PHOTOS", and then pose them to you for a vote.
I will try to keep the list to an absolute minimum.
IS THIS GOING TO BE HARD!!!

Does any body have any suggestions on this matter?

i think if anyone has the right to pick the top 10,20/whatever, it's you...

IFLY: please dont upload all the pics lol it would take me all day to load them..

ones that come to mind, a couple of nice spits, mustangs, the heli, that tigermoth in the sunset, and thats just what i remember

I think that that is what you should do. You go back through the posts and pick.....YOU favorite......like you fav. like.....i...dunno.....like say favorite 15 pictures.........and then post what posts that they were in........nnnnooooooo.......it would take some time.....but loook thought......find your favorite 10 pics........then I can make a pole and under the possible things they can look like this:

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SCALE PICTURE?
Look at the POSTS:

-Post:

-3
-18
-35
-14

you know like that........I know that people wouldn't want to keep going back.....but there has to be some what that we can post the picures on one post........and show which post that they were on........and let the other people vote on which picture that thye want by the post that the post that the pictures were on.......I hope that you understood that.............I really hope that this works out...........I"M SO EXCITED

Default 16 Month Calendar

I was only going to post to make a suggestion on how to post your favourite pictures. But then I started going through all the pictures and got carried away. This is what I came up with (notice the links and the clean easy way to get to the pictures and postings)...

If I was going to make a 16 month calendar, these would be my choices. I was going to choose 10, but I couldn't narrow it down that far. There are SO MANY good pictures in this thread, it makes it very hard to narrow them down.
