Nice looking plane. I like the bomb drop caught on-camera. One minor point for future reference. On the photos of the right side of the aircraft, the squadron code letters should be "WZ", not ZW. This is a common error because very few planes were photographed on the right side, so unless you know about squadron codes being the same on both sides, you'd have to guess what it looked like. "WZ" refers to an aircraft assigned to the 84th Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group out of Duxford England in WWII. The single letter aft of the star and bar on the fuselage was the individual aircraft letter, unique to that aircraft. If you see a bar below the individual aircraft letter, that means that there was more than one assigned to the squadron with that identification.

cheers

Come on, tabash! What part of that cub even vaguely looks real? And the Viper? You just don't get it, do you?

It's a DH4. Maybe the pilot just stepped out for a smoke.

That's one nice looking plane. With a decent engine (read power), the models fly staggeringly well too don't they.
Sorry for the pun but they do.
Interesting to note that the F3A guys discovered only a few years ago that if they added a small wing behind the canopy, alined approximately with the trailing edge of the lower wing, it dramatically improved performance/ earodynamics.
What goes around, comes around.

Sorry for the non scale picky BTW. Descriptive purpose only... you understand

I obtained a FunAero SE5a kit (fuselage mostly built) with some plans but without a manual. Do you still have yours that I could get a copy of?

Thanks guys! Another "ok" moon shot. Unfortunately these moon shots are severely cropped.

I would say that Mr. Hart certainly fully grasps the concept of this thread! Great shots David, thanks for sharing them.

The blue angle shot with the moon is mind blowing. That's a money shot if I ever saw one. Beautiful work.

Is that exhaust-haze shot unmanipulated? If not, that's my favorite of the bunch (and they're all amazing).

That heat haze is part of the shot. Nothing added.

That's what I thought! Fantastic image. I know a lot of time, the tack-sharp photos get all the praise but these other types of photos can sometimes be more evocative of the feel and even weight of the full-scale. The fact that I can't quite make out all the detail, makes it all the more appealing to me.
