I agree with sebo ARUP, we need more pics!

Your wishes are my command! Oh... and thanks for the interest! I put some build threads here on RCU and got about two and a half hits.

First pic shows 'turnaround' pulleys to ailerons, second is of 'aileron balance cable' connection and last two show aileron cables without and with seat in the way. The seat is removable for cable access to assemble model. The rudder cables seen running under seat. Not shown is the tow release pull knob. There is even a scale instrument on this bird... a yaw string on the nose!

That's really impressive ARUP. I love seeing stuff like that. I can't believe there wasn't much interest in a build thread. I would have really enjoyed that one. A beautiful bird you built.

Default From the Maine Jet Rally 2014

Wish they could have been a little clearer, but it's the best I could do. The Starfighter was the best RC model I've ever seen fly. The pilot nailed every landing like it was a small foamy.

Back on topic.
Brilliant shot of a brilliant model by our own Tom Crump.
Saw it in Question & Answers and had to repost it here.

Well... if I had baggy tan nylon pants I could do that too. Actually I do, but... never mind!

Great airplane! There is a very use full scale one as a 10 IP (Initial Bombing Point, 10 miles from the target.) for the run-in line on the Gila Bend Bombing ranges, just south of "Black Gap" about 15 miles south of Gila Bend AFAF, AZ. You might be able to see it on Google Earth. I Was a Range Control Officer for the USAF there for 9 years until I retired in Dec of 2013. A-10 pilot once asked me on a bombing run, "is that a Gruman Panther? Reply, "you know your airplanes!" wallace.tharp

Great pic Scott of my F22. I had a flameout a long ways out so left the gear and flaps up so I could make the runway and I just barley did. Was trying to get the gear out but it was moving to slow so last min put it back up and did a belly landing. Currently fixing it now for the next event.

Very good pic

Nice P-38 Gary! If you are ever in Colorado Springs in the near future visit the aviation museum by the Colorado Springs Airport. They have a agreement with the aircraft restoration company next door to allow them to give tours. The company in question is restoring 5 P38s of several variants to flying condition. Its unbelievable the mass of twisted metal they started with. They have a collection of all the old factory drawings and they rebuild some beautiful airplanes!

Don't worry David Hart it's still alive but with it's new owner David Payne. We will have to try and get back down for monster planes one of these years.
