I think I know the tri-plane but I'll admit I had to Google it. Being the only Japanese tri-plane made it pretty easy.Those are some very nice looking designs by the way...

A side note, this airplane flew like the original and I quote "The Mitsu looked like an airborne block of flats - and flew like one"

Ah, good ol' Dr. Mike Hawkins of Flying Scale Models fame! He always takes on such interesting scale subjects...while the rest of us just do yet another Pup, SE5a, Albatros, DrI.

Yup, he is a breed apart! And he is brutally honest on how his airplanes come out, none of this BS how it was in perfect trim and flew like a dream on the maiden you see in a lot of other building columns. If its a dog he says so, if it was a nightmare until he fixed such and such he tells you so.

My albatros CI, 1/4 scale bleriot , 1/3 sopwith pup and RE8 WWI models are so photogenic (and slow enough to get a picture)

Yeah, excellent. I love the shot with the daylight moon in the background. Can't imagine how you lined that shot up.
