I have built an A330-300 with fiber parts from Norbert Rauch, and it flyes wonderfully

you can have a look on youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr8n3v5YpNw

Check also other videos from me

You will also see a vid with on board cam on a concorde, including telemetric system giving on real time, air speed and altitude to the ground

I am actualy building an other A330-300 for a friend, and a KC 10 ( in flight refueler ) at same scale : 1/16 see joined pic, and see also my A330-300

When the KC 10 will be delivred at the end of 2008, I will start to build a 1/16 AWACS, got already fiber parts, styro and landing gear

Some pics posted on my web page at : www.mes-avions-rc.net

How much might it cost to build an A330-300 with everything?

Anyone know about the neffwaffe? Those guys are having a lot of fun with their airliners on the u tube vid. I just recieved Norberts DC 9 parts, I was thinking of putting my wren 44 with bifuricated exhaust to exit just behind the scale engine position; having watched the EDF video from those guys...I may go that route .

if you are looking for prop driven, try a viscount,or a dh-5,or dh 8...they shouldn't set you back more than $1000 by the time all is said and done

I think it's different types of models prop-liner and jet-liner, and you can't compare them, especially costs will vary due to manufacturing techniques. Fiberglass model much cheaper in production then models which made of composite sandwich technology in a vacuum.
