EAA bipe color scheme
I have recently purchased a Balsa USA EAA bipe...I have search the web for a color scheme I want with no luck...What I looking for is the white, blue and orangecolor scheme in the Balsa USA on line catalog...Now I have already contacted Balsa USA and was told, this plane is a customer's and they have no way to comtact this customer...I need to know if the white, blue, and orange is scale and where I can find more views of that plane...1Builder

RE: EAA bipe color scheme
If you can see the N number, go to the FAA registration search page ( do an N-number search) and it will give you owners name and address. You can write a letter telling them what you are doing and ask for photos and color names and in most cases, (Iv'e done it three times) they are happy to help.....

Google image search for Acro Sport. It had the blue/white/ YELLOW finish

RE: EAA bipe color scheme
Whoops, EAA Bipe and Acro Sport are both EAA Bipes, but only one is an EAA Bipe, If BUSA says that the color scheme in thier ad is of a customers full size plane (did they?) then the scheme should be scale. As suggested elsewhere, check out airliners.net and look for the particular model plane ( EAA BIPE or ACRO SPORT) and you will find lots of color schemes.

RE: EAA bipe color scheme
1builder, I had a look at the BUSA site and as stated above I was un aware that there was both an EAA Bipe and an EAA Acrosport derived from the original straight wing design
I think, because the BUSA model image does not have a N number or other registration number showing that it is most probably a 'sport' fininsh and not scale.
Sadly both airliners.net and Google images have very few scale paint schemes to choose from.
But since you're in Marshfield you'll have a great opportunity to take pictures of LOTS of planes in 3 weeks over in Oshkosh!
