This is a refreshing thread for the nostalgia freak! (like me) The 70's was a unique time in RC history, you wanted it you had to build it! I love bell cranks and linkages, just like the full scale WWII iron. I'm thankful for the skills I gained from doing it the "hard way." I've built a few of the Royal kits, but I'll start with a good one I found on the net a few years back, it is a Royal P-38 built by Mr. Holland, if you are on here sir please fill us in!

Hi,
I have two rare and genuine Maratuka kits that I am selling as I have two many models and no time,my motorcycle did 8 miles between annual inspections that is the distance to and from the test center and my house. So that shows you how much time I don't have.
The kits are a Pitts s2 and a Cessna 310Q I am prepared to sell them for £150 for the pitts and £200 for the Cessna and all postage would be at cost. I don't try and make out of the postage like some as I expect as modellers we should treat each other reasonably. If no one is interested I will put them on the auction site, but I thought I would give you guys first shout.

Greg the way the pound is at the moment it almost is like US $ prices,£150 = $187 so not as bad as you think. Due to work and sickness I haven't been able to do anything with the kits so they are still available.

Hello out there in Royal Land. I am thinking about starting a Royal 337 kit. I have been looking at the drawings, and it doesn't show placement of the servos. If anyone out there would have pictures of their placement would be appreciated

Hi, does anyone have the contact information for Royal / Marutaka as they exist today? My last address shows Royal Quality Products 790 W. Tennessee Avenue Denver Colorado 80223. Nobody responds to letters written there but maybe there's a new address? Tx.

That is the correct address for Royal's location when they closed. I will be surprised if any one responds. The last time I drove by that building it was occupied by Royal Publications which is another business that Ron Murray was involved in.

Thank you sidgates, I bought 6 vintage servos but nothing matches, notice this servo is a 5-wire with the stepper controller on the system board not in the servo. It also uses lateral mounts and output shaft bigger than modern versions today. A real oddball.
