A personal update... I haven't flown much in the last year and a half, having been occupied on a new "build". It is almost finished and license/Ca registration soon to happen. Maybe then I will get back into RC?
This model has a 4cyl Acura RSX S-type engine/6speed MT - about 200hp, and weighs about 1500 lbs. I had to learn to weld and many other things so it was another learning experience.

Looks like an Jag XKE 120 to me...one of the most delicate cars ever built...hit a curbstone by accident and it cost thousands to realign them......but they are beautifull

It's been a while since I was on here and I am surprised my login still works. It is great to see many of the same great names are still going strong. Personally I have not been RC active, flew my last flight over a year ago at the Jomax field in AZ. I have since sold the house there in Cavecreek (my cash flow is much better now just having a home in San Diego). Last week I visited my SS D.III at the San Diego Aerospace Museum and it is still there
The closest thing to model airplanes that I have done is to make the rear wing on my roadster with fabric covering (I wanted that CURVE and it is hard to do in sheet aluminum). It has held up well at fairly high freeway speeds. I will post a few pix. Please forgive car photos on an RC plane site. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year yaall! If you get really bored, check out my website at allanflowersdesign.com
