Default Warbird Colors ?

My 1/5 Cub is about to the painting stage and I want to try Warbird Colors Paint. I went on their site and looked for the colors to match the picture featured in this post, my chosen scheme, but I cant find the green that matches. The olive drab for the US looks far too brown. Any thoughts on what color this plane is painted in?

The paint looks like Poly Tone PT 212 Oak Green. The sharks mouth is anybody's guess. You're right about the Olive Drab paint. It's too brown.

I think I would contact Warbird Colors and ask him if they can match your color. I know that the paints are top drawer. Good Luck, Dave

Most likely because the WW-2 olive drab paint is more brown in tone than the more modern mixes of olive. The color used on the Cub in question is probably FS 34087 which is the current Federal Standard for Olive Drab but it is not what was used in WW-2 which was shade 41. Just my guess.
