I have the 240/340 & 440 3 views but they are very small.

I also have a large 3 view of a 340 but it's more artwork than technical drawing, mostly to show airline colours. - John.

I'm just thinking here, , ,

I'm wondering if it's such a big difference to modify a DC4 plan.

- the fuselage is about the same, just shorten it a bit
- the tail is a bit narrower and maybe slightly taller
- just use the inboard engines instead of all 4

Hmmmm, , ,

Hi Mike,

I hope the catalog that I sent to you is being of great value in their consultation, but thinking well about your idea of using the drawing of the DC-4 to do a new set plans of Convair I think can give right, I just think will give a more little of work to do the adjustments of one for the other. In my case I already have just the very early drawing in AUTOCAD lack some details to leave the complete plans as for instance, a view of front of the airplane to do the correct diedro.

Thank you for more this small detail that can help a lot

It may take some hunting, but was a short article on the twin in an early 1950's edition of Air Progress, that had some Trigg's quality drawings as a part of.

Sergio,
The best drawing I have found is one from a vacuum formed plastic model kit from Execuform. I think the kit is still avalilable.
Here is a sample along with my 440 that I haven't worked on in a while.
