Pica 1/5 Aeronca Sedan - What engine?
I recently bought a beautiful Aeronca Sedan Pica 1/5 originally flown with a .75 GMS 2 stroke. The plane was later converted to electric but I got it without engine or motor. I have been planning to put in an OS .91FX (two stroke) but I am now wondering about the RCV engines would the SP 90 work without chewing up the cowl? or the 130 CD? What IC power plant do people use and/or recommend?

RE: Pica 1/5 Aeronca Sedan - What engine?
Thanks Szig. I'll use an OS91FX. If it's not too much trouble, can you send me the next panel to the right (behind the firewall?) and any face-on or other views of the engine mount and firewall?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Plans state engine sizes are: O.S. .40-.60 two stroke, O.S. .61-.91 Four Stroke and K&B .61. So, by todays standards, because we need to be able to HOOVER this airplane a DA 150 should be about right!
