Default Looking For XB 70 Plans Or Info

I am going to build a B 70 this winter and wish I could find some crossections of this aircraft. It was a lovely plane and very little info is available. If anyone knows where more info is I would appreciate knowing. Thanks, Steve W

AS far as I know plans may be available at

G. Bertella, Via Matteotti 248, Gardone V.T. 25063, Brescia, Italy

BUT I can´t contact him.....no answer at all. Let me know If you are lucky. I also wish to build a XB70. Also I has some images of landing gears.

Hi Steve,

You are still looking for plans! The site at http://www.labiker.org/xb70.html has the section drawings you need. Have you decided what scale you would like to build? When I was considering building it earlier, I was stumped on how to get the ducted fans to fit in the scale engine nacelle. It was going to need multiple engines to fit. My dad is planning on talking to one of the old XB-70 test pilots and maybe he might have some plans. Did you ever get the drawings I sent you to open up? If not I can send them in Adobe format.

Hello Gents, This is the best XB-70 book I've ever found...

Has anyone undertaken a build yet? I wish the ARF mfg's would crank out a turbine version.

The Koku-fan books are also an outstanding source of detailed information. Even thought they are written in Japan, the diagrams and photos alone are worth their weight in gold.

Great document. 3 View at Page 20 but the detail numbers are great.

NASA has several more XB-70 related documents but this one would most help someone trying to build one of these. Would love to find cross sections.

Hey Driver: Was just checking around anything on the XB-70, and saw your post. I have tons of Doc's on the Valkyrie, including possibly all the cross sections your probably looking for. If your still interested PM me: PARCS46
