Favourite Scale Models in Flight

RE: Favourite Scale Models in Flight
OK, sorry, 2 of my pictures were taken during takeoff, and part of the weight of the aircraft was on the wheels. I shall replace them with other 2. The jury will disregard those other 2 pictures:-)

Looks like it's time to enforce the only rule this thread has. Does the word ''INflight'' ring a bell?

Scale model airplane flown in a very exciting and un-scale manner. A show stopper:-) Warbirds Over Delaware...

Let's see. B-29 inverted, must be Mac Hodges. Black Eurosport with no landing gear, must be Dennis Crooks LOL Seems that mishap shows up a lot. Love the Hoosier Dawn Patrol photos. And the pic of the of the Hawk with the ejection seat outlines in the cockpit is fantastic. I know they are models but these pics convey a sense of realism regardless of control horns and antennas. Love this thread so much more than the scale photo thread.

Cheers to you Neil!
sometimes it didn't seem to take much for a few of the overzealous pedantic patriarchs on "that other thread" to start up with their rants over seemingly small items. Let them have it if they want. I understand the point of their thread and it has some fantastic "adherent to the rules" posts and some annoyingly way off posts as well...it's to be expected- move on to the next photo. The most irritating factor was the rants though. Most of us do this hobby for enjoyment, at least I do. I hear enough cr*p in the day to not want to wade through it when I'm unwinding.
I thought your contributions to the thread were excellent in every way..Again, cheers to you! Hope this thread does as well or better...without the drama!

i actually enjoyed everything on the 'other' thread. the beautiful scale airplanes, laughing at poor attempts by some clueless guy posting a plane missing a cowl with a muffler hanging out or someone posing beside their 60 size arf etc. then the sometimes not so gentle reminder as to what the thread is supposed to be. i saw nothing wrong with any of it. this is already a great thread here too.
