Ram-bro that is aileron damage from 20mm cannon fire and is purpose built as an airshow flying display using a titanium spar w/ reinforced aluminum structure to honor the rugged survivability and aggressive nature of the P-40 and their crews. This is Gregory "Pappy" Boyington's AVG #21 where on Dec 20, 1941, 13 days after Pearl Harbor the first combat action for the AVG occurred over southern Yunnan Province when a combination of the First and Second Sqns shot down 9 of 10 Japanese bombers with a loss of one AVG aircraft. The press will later report they fought like Flying Tigers.

There is nothing like the feeling of pointing the nose down and then staying that way until the last possible second!
