We should get some 4-40 countersunk screws and counter sink the gear doors so the screws sit flush.

Well I pulled the trigger and going with the Hacker A150-10 motor and Jeti Masterspin 220 ESC. On 12S this pulls about 10,000 Watts using the Mejzlick 27X12 TH prop. Hang on tight.

Well... It took a little longer to sand and prep all the parts I wanted to prime this weekend. I sanded all the flow coated parts, cleaned out the hinge slots, sanded some more... bla bla
After milling the slots in the lower gear doors for the sliding action, I decided to skim all the doors with microlite and sand em down.

I machined these little bushings to fit into the gear door slots. Now I can tighten the door screws without clamping the two doors together. Works great!

Sweet. Is it safe to say ''primer'' Time. Been a long road.

Last week I had over two dozen parts that all needed something done to them. Been trying to do what ever it takes to just simply reduce the number of parts and get'm done, done, done.
Second group of parts will be the Rudder, Elevators, Cowl and spinner.
After that I have 3 parts left... (2) wing halves and Fuse.

DD.
By order ok OKW stand down and work on Rita for the scale event next month.
It will be 3-4 weeks before Hacker has motor in stock so delays anyways.

Well, the Korvettenkapitän gave me a month of R&R after that "other thing"... I guess I just can't stay away from it. I decided that there are just too many parts to deal with so I'm going to complete the side panels first.
Cleaned all the flash and prepped all the parts, added some styrene here and there plus a few washers. glued a toothpick to anything that would receive one.

Filled in the blank spots with RLM 66 then added some mild paint chipping and a few washes of stains and dirt. The whole assembly was dusted with earth followed by a coat of Nelson's flat clear and final assembled. I used clipped off pin heads painted black for the screws around the gauges.
