We're going to have to do some spying on the Burley skunk works...I think there some big electrics going in his AOR. Get some ideas on mounting that motor.

Here's a 100cc flip flopper with a big Hacker. Looks like he stacked the standoff's and mounted the batts in the tank area.
I will just machine some custom standoff's.

+1 i bought the "kit" version for my 1/5th 190.. i'll definitely pay the extra $$ for the finished version on my 1/5 TA-152 kit.. 5 days of cockpit assembly is allot of work.

I found some more pictures... Here's a A150-10 mounted in a Hanger9 Pawnee where a DA-85 should be. Looks like standoff's are our only option. Notice that the ESC is mounted inside the cowl.
Where do we want to mount our ESC?
Do we want a special tray to support this thing under the cowl?
Or... Mount the ESC in the fuse and add vent holes? ... bla bla bla

The prop / spinner / back plate mounting is going to be one big headache. The heavy duty back plate + prop + prop washer is so thick that it eats up the grip of the prop bolts and prop shaft. A new prop shaft extension and longer bolts are going to be needed. Grrrr!!

Here's what I'm thinking...
We mount the Pop Tart down low on a plywood tray and put a small rectangular cheater hole under it.
Du verstehst nicht?

I think that's where the Pop Tart should go. That we're I have it in the Sea Fury with no problems.
Send me the link to where you got the photos of the install. I need to see how he wired up his ESC. Hacker has dual positive and negative leads. Which has me confused. I'm use to Castle. Any help here is appreciated. Manual is worthless
