I think that's where the Pop Tart should go. That we're I have it in the Sea Fury with no problems.

Send me the link to where you got the photos of the install. I need to see how he wired up his ESC. Hacker has dual positive and negative leads. Which has me confused. I'm use to Castle. Any help here is appreciated. Manual is worthless

Going a little slow since this motor, prop and spinner is more than my house payment. I first machined a 1/2" long shaft extension from cold rolled steel and tapped for a M5 x .8 cap screw.

Carbon prop was drilled using a DA-85 drill jig and the old masking tape trick. I also flipped it over and repeated the drilling on the reverse side.

I've learned the hard way that it's VERY important to NEVER use a drill press to open up the center hole on these heavy duty back plates. The center hole was painfully hand reamed. Bolt holes are drilled in the back plate and everything mounted. Wheeew! That was stressful. So easy to mess things up at this stage. Drill the wrong hole in the prop jig, stripped threads, you name it.

Everything so far is perfect and the back plate turns true.

Been head scratch'n... I lifted up the Hacker using balsa and cut a the cowl to slip over it. This gives me the stand off distance needed to the back of the cowl.

Got the spinner bowl cut with 1/16" clearance around the Mejzlik 27-12TH carbon prop. I have 1/8" clearance between the back plate and the cowl.

I added the standoff length needed to the back of the cowl + the length to the firewall and came up with some sheen drawings.

Started sheen'n... The metric cap screw heads will have to be cut off as there is no clearance between the motor mount and the can.

I would like to suggest a Borla or Magnaflow if you are concerned about performance.

Just some Sheen'n stuff... Not sure how the pros do it. I got this little spring loaded tap guide and some Tap Magic. No broken taps!! YEAH!!

1. Drilled for 50% thread grip.
2. Apply a drop or two of Tap Magic.
4. Hand twist about 5-6 turns.
5. Remove tap and clean out chips.
6. A shot of air in the hole.
7. Repeat steps 2-6
