Figured you gave up the ghost. But Alas your building Tonka Toys.
152 should get back on track now that the big Don Smith Spitfire is finished. Brumhilde is getting ringed out.

Well the big Don Smith is heavy at over 50 pounds. Big 110 inch wingspan. It handles very similar to a 109 on the ground. Take offs no flaps. Nose tends to want to nose over so delicate on the elevator control. Flys straight and true. Still dialing in the flaps on landing. Trying the 90 degree deflection with down elevator trim. All and all a good solid flyer. Again my years on the 109 made it easier to tame. Stalls are a nose over. No wing drop. All and all a decent weekend flyer.

Thanks Pandi... That's really good info... This giant DS avocado I'm working on will be 111" so.... It sounds like the 45-50# range is realistic with twin fitties.

What are you building anyways. HE209 or something?
The TA152 is in soft hold pattern. Burley should be cranking on it soon. So maybe will see some color in it.
It won't be maidened for some time however. I'm heading back to the front for Uncle Sam. Third mobilization for king and country. So I'm out here in T minus 26 days.
Burley will keep the paint and weather progress posted. But this thing won't fly til summer 2014. What's another year right after all the time on this one.
