i picked up a DUMAS, DONZI Z65 off e bay unstared waiting to have it shipped to me .i hope it makes it .dont know if i will bulid it or have it done as i have had no luck with duma kits but have always wanted a donzi

Joe,

Read the directions, maybe a couple of times, and TAKEYOURTIME. There's no need to be/get in a hurry. If you get confused by the directions ask questions, someone has surly had the same problem and will help you.

You might also consider using the framing as templates and make new out of aircraft plywood. I have had problems using the mahogany ply frames on every Dumas I've built as they tend to be very fragile. Just a friendly note of caution

yeah i have had dumas boats be for the wood they use is not very good . but this is a glass hull thank god lol i have always wanted one . an end upn paying 485.00 . an still need to find hardwear for it []

So you must be the guy who out bid me for that boat about a week ago? Nice job. I dont know if you saw the other one that was listed a little before that one. It was already started but had the hardware and railings. I was able to contact the seller and make a deal. Should be here 2moro. Like you this is one of my dream boats. Had a few in the past but sold them off. This ones a keeper. As stated before take your time and you'll have to be creative with some stuff. These guys here can surly provide lots of help. yeah i was not even looking for one an seen it .still need to find hard wear [] i see dumas still sells front railing . the shipping seem kinda low as i selll on e bay all the time an never have been able to ship some thing of that size for 20.00 hope it makes it here .

Keep an eye on e-Bay....Every so often they come up for sale..If you do a Dumas Donzi search on e-Bay once a week you will find maybe 2-3 per year.

this is a kit with no runnig hardwear has not been started parts have been marked thats all hull is glass with no holes or chips that i see was compete last time checked has been sitting for some time now has all the plans an paper work .

this is for pick up olny i will not ship it 400.00 firm as i am no rush too sell it . no trades cash only !!!! i am building a trail truck an looking too buy a jeep so i have no time for this

Also set it up in the RCUniverse classifieds...this will get it out there some...if you can't find a buyer here in the next week or two I suggest e-bay with a $400 starting price....someone will surely snatch it there and maybe put a few more $$ in your pocket but consider shipping it for a definite sale....

i olny sell small things on e bay an i am not willing too risk it to pay pal i have lost items an money too them in the past .if i dont sell it i wont be upset over it . i am building a 3 story doll house at this point an i sware its harder then any thing i have ever bulit boat plane or car lol .boats calling lol
