Recommending a motor and propeller for the SS Phoenix (an ex-PT-boat) 1:64

Earlier today, I finally got the chance to install the propeller shaft stuffing box in my 1:96 scale model(s) of the SS Phoenix, a “civilianized” PT-boat, (,the USS Kearsarge, and LV-112) and plan to install the rudder stuffing box next weekend.

I’m rather concerned about managing the weight on this model, especially considering that it is roughly 14 inches long, and was wondering if any of you could suggest an engine for this model that would be light, and able to move this ship at scale speeds.

Also, the propeller that comes with this kit is probably not the most efficient and I was wondering if any of you could recommend a replacement propeller. The propeller is a two blader, measuring .8 inches in diameter.

    Thank you in advance.

I always go to the All Electronics website first for scale motors. You can probably experiment with 4-5 different motors for less than $20...
