small rc boat build!
so i am making a small rc boat out of plywood it will be approx 10 inches.i will include pics of boat made of cardboard just so i could c what it looked like. so i am trying to figure out what electrical equiptment i should use! this is everything i can think of that i will need! is there anything im forgetting to get this boat rtr? can ye try give me suggestions for the blank spaces? or if ye think something i have listed isnt going to work!!!

Hi Jack,
If you're not set on going high-tech brushless, then obviously the cheaper route would be using a simple small hobby or surplus motor, servo-controlled micro switch instead of an electronic speed control, and a ni-mh battery pack.
A coupler could be as simple as silicone or rubber tubing. For rudder/prop/driveshaft on a boat this small, you could probably gut an old Radio-Shack rc boat from a garage sale or thrift store.
Now that's cheap!
