Default g5 baby bootlegger

I am new to this hobby. I am building a g5 Baby Bootlegger. I got the plans on line. The hull is 35". What size of brushless and prop size should I use? I don't want it to go supper fast. I am totally clueless. The plans say to use a brushed 700. If anyone can recommend anything that would be awesome.

A brushed 700 unless you want to experiment with your own brushless combo.

Try to find people building the same boat as you and see what they are running, compare notes and go from there.

There are probably guys building that boat on RCGroups scale boat section.

Best of luck.
