Clyde Puffer Cargo Ship by Tony Lombardo
Hello Ship mates!
Introducing Tony Lombardo's Clyde Puffer Ship, large scale! (56 Inches Long !!)
Here is some information on these ships from long ago:

Tony Lombardo is a Master Builder and at most he builds from pictures and not from plans, however, this model the Clyde Puffer he received plans and was delighted as this speeds things a bit for him.

The full size boat is only a short drive from me. I might be wrong ,but i dont think it has moved in years. Nice to see something you recognise in every day life being modeled.....Top job, stunning !

Guys!
Thank you for your replies and appreciation to skillful modeling techniques by Tony Lombardo.
A few updates from Tony after I called him this early afternoon that consists of power system, that includes ESC, Motor, Belt Drive System, Receiver and Transmitter setup has been completed. Sound System and Smoke System has been taken out from another Ship.
The assembly of a carrier to take this large ship to water is being made as I type this.
I will see about driving myself on Wednesday so, I can pass by Tony's house and take several pictures for all interested and perhaps a Video of the Sound System and Smoke System.
Stay tuned.

At any moment, the Clyde Puffer is ready to go out on Water!!!
Weather conditions in Central Florida has been with lots of clouds, light rain and high gusty winds. For pictures and Video, we are hoping for better conditions in the weekend.

Well, at around 1300 hours local (Eastern Time) at a place called Chain of Lakes Park, Titusville, Florida and with the help of good friends made the maiden voyage of Tony Lombardo's scratch built project see water today!
It was just majestic!!!

One picture showing the Transport method using a Chrysler Voyager (mini-Van) and using the rear luggage area the model fits just amazingly snug!

Well, guys the model has been SOLD.
Tony has been busy with other projects as he has replenished Cash funds for new material and equipment to make other nice models.
