just got the kit of dumas dauntless and looking for the build thread , need some help on it...................... thanks

Yep, that's the beginning of her.  Take your time and read through it.  It will take some time but it will be time worth investing.  You'll find TONS of building tips!

You can also go to http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ight=dauntless for a synopsis of the RCUniverse site but you will loose the building tips.  Going there will wet your interest enough to read the RCUniverse build.

anyone built one using one motor ? I have a dumas 12v brushed motor and a 12v gel battery ......... trying to save money

You will need two good sized motors to run her. Look for at least 700 sized motors to get her to perform. The Dauntless is going to take you some time to build so don't worry about running out to buy motors right away. Even a fast builder will take a few months to get her to the water. If you can save $10 a week then you should be able to get a nice pair of motors, speed controls, etc once she is built, painted and detailed.

thanks Rich , I know nothing about the elect I am a old ! airplane guy that likes to build ,where and what do I go for motors and speed controls I see the parts [ hard where ] cost over $100
