I asked this on the back of some one elses thread, without any feed back.
With out Googling. What was the only domescated animal in the movie, The African Queen, color, and whear.

Its not a trick question, and it is a domescated animal, not a monkey, I will give a clue, it might give it away, it has been a symbol of bad luck, and being so, was placed at the right time and place in the movie.

I got one for you where was the movie filmed ?,ill give you a clue that river they filmed it on wasnt in or near Africa ,well thats if you believe the excursion guys who took our money on our last holliday

I know there was a kit out there. Try Loyalhana dock yard,they should be able to help you. Mid west has a kit for a steam launch,and I think Legend boats has the AQ Good luck Larry

The small steam-boat used in the film to depict the African Queen was built in 1912, in Lytham St Annes, England, for service in Africa, and is now on display at Key Largo in Florida, USA. At one time it was owned by actor Fess Parker.[5]

I had to re-watch the movie because this thread popped back up ! I can't believe the boat still exists, it was a mess in the movie DECADES ago !
Anyone know were all the rapids scenes shot with models? some looked like full size boats, I am glad I didn't have to ride that thing in some of those shots !
Leeches still make me shudder :P
