Was going to build one from scratch, but I found the kit. It's a nice kit, easy to build. And if I were to by the wood it would cost more than the kit

Yes Sir!
I Love the Tugster Kit!
Working on Three Tugsters and Several additional Wheelhouse Versions...
Whether you you are a New RC Boater or an Old Salty RC Dog These Kits are Fun...
And have quite a bit of Detail Possibilities...
Happy Boating!

My Feedback: (1)
The Twin Tugster showed up late this morning. I finally got some time to check things out a little while ago.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of difference besides the obvious between the single and twin motored kits.
I expected worse wood than what I got as it's not contest quality but still very good. The laser cutting is much better than the CNC. Parts fit is very good.
I see where I'll be modding the electrics to my liking as I'll be changing out some of the connectors.

Dang It!
You made me look...
Now I Gotta order one.
I would like to try running the Motors through a Mixxer.
Guessing the Mixer would require only a Single Chanel on the Rx?
Currently builging my Second Single Screw Tugster out of a total of Three.
One or Two more wont hurt anything...
I thought I saw a blurb saying there were other Wheelhouses available.
Are there others beyond their Kentucky Wheelhouse?
Thank You,

Mine is now about 90% done as it needs ballast and a few other touches. I've kept mine pretty much stock, nothing fancy but I've seen a lot of modified ones on another forum site.
The wiring is wrong in the manual as it should be set up for a counter-rotating motor and it come with 2 differently rotating props.
I finished this with Key Lime paint, flat black, steel paint and red primer for that anti-fouling paint look then clear-coated. The wheelhouse roof and deck surfaces is 400 grit wet & dry sandpaper glued to the decks.

The more I run my Tugster, the more I like it, it is a fun boat, I used a motor from an old cordless drill. it has a cooling fan I use them in all my scale boats
