Dumas Dauntless Plans
Hi
I would like to know where can I find the plans or line drawings for the Dauntless.
Dumas has the plans but they say they are not suitbale for Scratch build.
Can anyone of you help me find those plans.
Thank you
Jose Elias

I would mention that your only option may be to buy the Dumas kit and reverse engineer a set of plans from the kit. Of course having the kit in the first place it would be easier to just build it?

I think I found the solution. Regarding the hull I think it is very similar to those of the PT boats, maybe a litle diferent at the bow, but it can be transformed I hope. Using such a hull and some pics from the existing models I may be able to build one. I will check my 1,40 m long PT 109 plans to see if it is possible.

Hi Jose, there is a huge amount of info available for building your model of the Dauntless. Just post specific questions as you go and see what other captains can help with. Looking forward to your build!

May help:
Plans & Instructions for Kit #1211-Dauntless
**Please Note**
Plans are not suited for scratch build.
$6.50
I bought plans for the Tuna Clipper, they also say "not suitable to scratch", but I reckon I could do it.
