Does anyone know what this boat is
I have a large scale boat 52 inches long 14 inches wide im trying to find out who makes it and what its called. The hull is fiberglass and the top is all wood. I was told its from the 70's but i really don't know anything after that expect that its awsome. Im trying to get it up and running so need to know what I'm looking for ect. Anybody know what this thing is?

It might be scratch built. the furniture and all the seats and floors are all hand made for sure. The guy at the hobby store also said the railing looked hand made. It looks like it might have been a kit though. I'd be ok with just knowing what hull its built off of. So i know where to start. I've searched up and down on the internet for pics of something even similar in size or style but haven't found anything of this size.

That looks like a wooden hull from here. Poke around a little. In Case you need some ideas , here's a build I posted that may help. Dan.

Its definitely a fiberglass hull I've been looking everywhere for something similar. is there a pace that sells large scale fittings. Like railing, miniture navigation equipment, steam or smoke equipment for the smoke stack. Ebay didn't have much. And im sure there's a company that makes such things right?

Sterling isn't around anymore correct? And dumas doesn't really have anything close to it. Is there a European company i don't know about that might carry that type of stuff. I've heard most of the really big boats come from Europe.

Sterling has been out of business for a while. Try Dumas and here MACK Products Model Marine for power installations. Those PT boats in my build were the Dumas fiberglass hulls. The same principles apply. Post your progress. It would be nice to watch. Dan.
