Tug Caddy
At 48 pounds my tug was a pain to get it from the car to the water. I made a caddy from a donated edger frame. It works like a dream. I've also included some close-ups.
The tug has proportional fwd. / rev., bow thrusters, sound system, water pump for the fire nozzles. Interior and exterior lighting. and the radar antenna spins too. The gell cells will keep her underway for an hour and a half.

RE: Tug Caddy
Great ship and very clever idea for transport. I am finishing up my Fairwind class sailboat and hope to build a tug someday soon. The Fairwind is my fourth sailboat, preceded by 2 soling 1M's and a Victoria. With a boat that large the gel cells are the obvious answer to long run times. Some of the guys on our pond try to run nicad packs and are lucky to get 1/2 hour of running. This is the reason I've avoided cruisers and the like and think I'd like a large tug.
