Ok, this is what I did, I just happened to have built up several of the Dumas kits, I was just getting ready to build the barrel back and so I traced out all the templates. Took those tracings to a print shop and they blew them up for me, twice the size, what I ended up with was roughly a 5' hull in 1/4 scale. I have yet to finish it but if you want something big and have access to an unassembled kit that was a good easy to do it. All the work is done for you. I'm planning on a homelite 25cc for power. Water cooled of course. I have been sidetracked by another project but someday I'll get back to it

ok, here are a couple more photo's of the building in progress, just thought you might be interested. I also attached a couple photo's of the 1/8th scale model. Leather covered seats are a must to making something like this look good. Painted plastic only goes so far. Also the dash needs a serious makeover in Dumas kits, stickers on wood just don't cut it in my book.

Actually I have not touched this boat for quite sometime now, it does seem a shame, even to me but I just got to a point where I don't like to do what I have to do on it so I'm putting it off. I will get back to it eventually I'm sure. When I do get it done I will post pics though, I hope you can wait a while.

Tim
