Hi, I`m looking for 1/250 scale figures. How much difference in height between the the two scales would estimate. Thank you, Skip

1/250 figures would make a 6foot tall man 9/32nd inches tall... [&:]
If you meant 1/25th scale, that would be a difference of 1/8th inch.

Hi, I can`t find 1/250 scale figures, their height would be approximately 9/32 that equals a 6`man. It won`t make any difference of what kind of figures they are, for they will be small you`ll need a magnifying glass to see them. Please let me know if you have any ideas, Thank you, Skip

Maybe you can mod them up to look appropriate.

Hi Kmot, Umi sent me Plastuct`s website, scan down on this page, there are two seperate links, be sure and check them both out. I`m sure you`ll find something you can use, I did. Umi sure helped me on these figures, for I searched a lot and came up with nothing even close to the scale I wanted. Thanks Umi ! Skip

Skip, we need to clear something up here.
I was looking for 1/24 scale figures. Not 1/240 scale. There is a HUGE difference between the two. 1/24 and 1/25 scale have absolutely nothing in common with 1/240 and 1//250 scale figures.
For example: A 1/24 scale human figure would stand 3 inches tall. A 1/240 scale figure would stand 3/10th's of an inch, tall.
Are we on the same playing field now?

RE: Need a source for 1/24 sailors!
I've purchased several 1/24 railroad figures from [link=http://www.slmonline.com/]Supply Line Minatures[/link]
They are nicely sculpted and well realistically proportioned, but would probably need some modifications to represent sailors.
Not sure of your inclinations- but I'm starting on sculpting some figures for a 1/10 model following the [link=http://www.mylargescale.com/articles/articles/figureclass/ch1/figures-01.asp]Figure Class[/link] at MyLargeScale.com
The author details basic techniques to sculpt figures using polyclay.
The articles are well done and it seems actually do-able!
I'll take a pic to post on the 1/10 figure thread.

Hi GregE, the scale figures I`m looking for are quite small, 1:250, approximately 9/32 -- 3/8 tall. Thank you for sending me the website. Skip
