Where can I get the "Tito Neri" boat kit?

Harbor models would be a good source for Graupner products.

Another might be Hobby Lobby International.

There are some images of one built up here, see post #55

Try Westbourne Model Centre or Alans Hobby in the UK. They both may have it in stock. Exceptional service far superior to any US source. I buy all my Slipway stuff from Westbourne and their prices including shipping are less then any supplier I have found in the US. Keep in mind that you don't pay the VAT which offsets the shipping costs and you can get it in 2-3 days if you send it datapost or 7-10 days via regular airmail. Either way you get it in one piece well packaged and shipped same day or next if it is in stock.

One other thing, Harbormodels may have it, but odds are they may not. Also you want to be careful using their on-line order process. It double dips your credit card and it can be a big hassle getting it fixed as they say it is their credit card processor causing the problem and it won't be fixed until November. So if you have to order from them fax your order so they can manually process the credit card will save you many a hassle down the road.
Also I have ordered several times from them and have problems with every order. If it is not a duplicate credit card hit then it is a shipment that was short shipped. So I have taken all my business elsewhere. I order all my Scale boat stuff from either Westbourne, Alans or Gold Coast Hobbies as I have had exceptional service and smooth transactions in all cases.

Try Gold Coast if want to try a US supplier first, not sure they carry them though but doesn't hurt to ask. Westbourne and Alans would be my next bet.

scalerc,
I forgot to mention that I lived in Hemet for about eight years, not too far from Murrieta.

Pretty close by. I haven't been to Hemet in a while as it is a bit out of the way as not much takes me in that direction. Besides with summer here it is to hot there now to go there. Has to be at least 10-15 degrees hotter then Murrieta. But Murrieta if you haven't been here in a while is no longer a small town. The population just exceeded Temecula this year.

I dont live far from Gold Coast and have been to visit a time or two. I dont know if they will have what your looking for but they are truly the best. Small store but well packed with items. Never have I been able to buy scale accessories hit or miss. Buy that I mean buying online and hoping that its what I wanted when it arrives. My personal dealings with Harbor models have not been the best but thats just my opinion and not a dig against them. If you want good service give gold coast a call. If you dont have the number I'm sure they have a web site or I'll try and find a card with the info. Happy boating, Reddog.

To all,
I just got my radio set from Tower, best price and great service. I got channel 78. I thought 75.750Mhz would be easy to remember.

scalerc,
I just looked at the Westbourne web site. It is great!! I also went to Alans Hobby, They are also very complete. I like the idea of their "Conversion" page, it helps when buying from other than a USA source.

Umi_Ryuzuki,
I got a HiTech 2 channel set in the 75MHz band. I also just ordered a "Nirvana" sailboat complete with radio. Now I will have a rescue ship if the wind dies down!

A rescue ship will always come in handy.
I ask about Frequencies simply because European frequencies are not legal here, and the person that is interested in the F-14 wants the dual throttel sticks, and the seven channels that that system provides.
If I am reading the messages correctly, then it is OK to order from harbor models over the phone, or by fax, but don't use their online system. [&:]

RE: Where can I get the "Tito Neri" boat kit?
Umi,
I got the 75MHZ band, #78 and also #80 frequencies.
I have ordered from Tower Hobby and have had great service, both on-line and over the phone. They are receptive to questioning and seem to be knowledgeable about their products, very helpful.

I think that if you search for ROBBE, or GRAUPNER, you will find that neither the
F-14 ROBBE transmitter, nor the GRAUPNER Tito Neri can be purchased through Tower Hobbies.

Umi,
There are several 7 channel sets on the market. See Futaba, HiTech, Hobbico. Maybe one of these locations can satisfy the one that is looking for the F-14.

RE: Where can I get the "Tito Neri" boat kit?
Umi,
Sorry about the misunderstanding. Is it not possible to get the radio without specifying the freq?
I would contact Futaba and inquire.

That is exactly what I have been trying to find out. As other members here have suggested Westbourne Model Center and Alan's Models in the UK. The transmitter boards are tuned to 41mhz, which is the ground frequency in Europe. I believe that 41mhz in the United States is the ambulance or emergency services radio frequency.
The Transmitter is available in 75mhz from Harbor models, but they were recommending the other retailers.
