I like your mission statement and hopefully you can stick to it. We really need a magazine that will tell us the way that it is, good, bad and what could use improvement.
I saw by the name that it looks like you are going more towards the Scale and Sail boaters but what else are you looking at if anything?
The last scale boating magazine that was available died a slow death. To me, it looked like they were shifting over to full-sized ship reviews, good if you wanted info for a project but it wasn't for everybody. Keep doing kit reviews, how-to's and event coverage and you'll go far.

Our focus is on Scale and radio controlled boats - or the five !QUOT!S!QUOT! Scale,Subs, Sail, Steam, and Static. Since our view of the magazine are similar to your suggestion I believe we are the right course.
