servo jitter
Dear boys,
I seem to be getting some rudder servo chatter. Wires are twisted, there's good seperation between components, I'm using capasitors, The antenna is well away from all.
I am running the servo wire right up against the stuffing box, could this be the trouble??
Can you boys think of anything else??
Thanks,
George

RE: servo jitter
George,
There are so many things that could cause that so let me see if I can help you nail it down. Yes, the stuffing box could be a problem. Anytime metal touches metal it could cause a glitch. If that still is not the problem heres some other things I can think of to at least check. First off, is the servo ok? did you try swapping for another? Secondly, if you are using 6Volts instead of 4.8 that could cause problems. Third, if the servo itself doesn't have enough strength to use as a rudder it could do funky things. If it somehow gets wet (or any radio component for that matter) it could cause problems.
Hope that helps,
Pete
