45 inch dumas shelly foss belt drives
what do you think of my custom made belt drives for my foss
its powered by two american bosh 12 volt motors ( big as pop cans)
the belt drives are made from traxxas nitro 4-tec belts and idler pullys and belts. approx 3-1 reduction
they spin 1/4 stainless shafts ( sealed bearings both ends)
homemade 3 3/4 brass four blade props.
34 amp hour gel cell
no ballast at all and it sits at waterline.
pushes the 60+ pound boat at approx. 14 miles an hour for nine hours without recharging of the main battery
enjoy
