Default Dumas, Chris Craft Runabout-build

In an effort to motivate me to continue working on my Chris Craft, I thought I'd start a thread. I'm going to have some time on my hands this winter and after 2 years of not doing a thing to this boat, I think I'm ready to get back at it.

To explain the pics, the boat was in the middle of sanding when I stopped, I'm not using cloth on the hull, but so far it has 5 coats of West System epoxy on her, except the hatches. The inside of the hull has 3 coats so far, with a motor mount base I was working on, which has micro balloons.

I made the mistake of using some filler on the hull, as I was getting tired of sanding, but I realize I need to SAND, so that will be gone.

I'm planning at this time of buying another 700sc motor for this boat, as I love it in my jet boat. Going direct drive, probably 12 cell 14.4v, but maybe 24 cell(still at 14.4v) for capacity if they can fit. Might install a water pump to guarantee worry free long runs.

Thats it for now, hopefully I will start working in a few days. Gotta start somehow though.

Any suggestions or tips are appreciated, right now I'm most concerned about apply all the fittings and cutting the slots for the windshield frame.
