5 blade, 2". 3/16". prop American company.
I am finishing fiberglassing the hull on a Dumas Crockett and would like to now install the stuffing boxes with A struts, I might need to by the stuffing box/shaft combo according to the dia of prop I use. Does any know of an American company that makes a 5 blade, 2" props, if it can be had in a 3/16" it would make it easy because I could get the rest of the stuff from Dumas, Thanks, Randy.

Jadeski your model looks nice, the rudders must have took some extra work and it paid off. I belive the Crocket had a 5 blade prop., but the look of 4 blade gives it a ships look, I might go with a 4 blade also. I would like to know the size, pitch, motors, gearing, batteries, speed, and run time. Thats a lot but the props look so nice and give it a good look, thanks, Randy.

Randy,
Not a problem I looked through my paperwork and the props actually came from Loyalhanna Dockyard,
part numer 171-09 (RH) 171-10 (LH) 2" dia, 3/16" shaft, 7000RPM max, not sure of the pitch.
I run pittman motors rated for 19.6 volts at 18 volts (purchased off of ebay), using three 6Volt 4.6AMP/HR batteries in series, I control the motors with two MCD UltraMinicon speed controllers, (they wine a little). I am not using any gearing with this setup, but haven't really tested it fully yet, might have to add them later.
I have some pictues posted at http://users.adelphia.net/~jadeski/ , and a bunch of others not posted,
The model is not close to being finished yet,
Mike
